Finding the Time to Lead: Make ONE Moment Matter

"We must use time wisely and forever realize that the time is always ripe to do right." Nelson Mandela

What is the value of a moment?

Jahan is a shy 6 year old boy who loves drawing, playing with LEGO's, and everything Lakers. One busy Saturday morning he accompanied his dad to the bank. Before they went in, Jahan stopped, asked his dad for a dollar, and then ran back to the car. He scribbled a little note, then walked up to a homeless man who was sitting outside the bank.

Shyly he handed the dollar bill and the note to the man. The man opened the note and started to cry.

On it Jahan had written, "It will be ok."

What is the value of a moment? For one homeless man, a man who spends his day being ignored or frowned upon, the moment was everything.

How many moments pass by us unnoticed?

We cannot recapture the lost moments, and perhaps we can't make every moment matter. BUT we can make one moment matter each day.

There are over 300 million people in the US today. Imagine if each one made one moment matter.

What is the value of a moment?

Make one moment matter and find out.
