"We'll walk in the sun...But till then, tramps like us baby we were born to run" Bruce Springsteen
If you were stuck on a deserted island, what music would you choose? Here's one for me:
- Born to Run by Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band
Born to Run embodies so much of my childhood that no matter where I'm at, I feel like it's my own piece of home. When I was a kid, I'd go through my dad's records and stare at Bruce's picture on the album cover. One of my first musical memories is singing Born to Run into a toy microphone (I’m sure it sounded nothing like the actual song).
Now whenever I hear Born to Run I think summer, my dad, the house I grew up in, and getting out of town for all of the right reasons.
